Aviva Sieber of SieberDesigns lives and works in Northampton, MA.  She has been designing and quilting for over fifteen years, creating one-of-a-kind quilts, purses, home décor items, gifts and accessories that have become recognizable for the color combinations she uses as well as her style.  Aviva’s favorite fabrics are batiks, as she is inspired by their unique patterns and colors. She challenges herself to utilize every scrap of fabric, creating signature pieces--large purses, cross-body hip bags, fabric bowls, organizers and tablet sleeves. SieberDesigns creations can be found at select shops in Massachusetts and Wisconsin, craft fairs throughout MassachusettsWhen Aviva first began quilting she was saving all her scraps but didn't have a use for them.  One day, after designing her first line of purses, she  figured out a way to finally use to those scraps and hasn't looked back since.  Today you will find that Aviva uses ALL of her fabrics, right down to the last 1/2 inch!  Aviva never throws out anything that she thinks that she can use in some way, somehow in a “scrappy” purse, bowl, organizer, or quilt. All of SieberDesigns's items are One-of-a-Kind.  Aviva wants all of her customers to know that while you will find that there are several options of colors in her line of  purses, wall hangings, organizers, etc. that might look similar, they will never be exactly the same as one another.  Each piece that is made is different in some way or another.  Aviva does not want any customer to walk down the street or into another person’s home and find that they have the same exact piece as another person.  Her belief is that if it’s handmade, it should be an original piece and I strive for that goal every day.Every piece made by SieberDesigns is machine washable and dryable on gentle cycle.  While we cannot promise that your piece will look perfect if you were to wash it daily for six months, if you treat it well and wash it when necessary, it will last you for a very long time and should look great after each washing.
