To support and encourage the arts in the City of Pittsfield; to enrich the community by supporting both local artists and local organizations in their efforts to explore and expand through the arts in their schools and throughout the city; to regrant monies allotted to the city by the Massachusetts Cultural Council; to promote the professional possibilities of the arts to students through grant and scholarship support.
