Called a “kid-friendly bilingual rock star” by The Washington Post, Mister G has been named one of the "Best Live Acts for Kids and Families.” Spanning genres from bluegrass to bossa nova, funk to folk and reggae to rock, his dynamic, original music has won praise from The Boston Globe, Chicago SunTimes, People, New York Post, and Parents magazine.Mister G brings his dynamic, interactive concerts to theaters and performing arts centers across the country, headlining major venues coast-to-coast including SummerStage Central Park (NYC), The National Theatre (Washington DC), Lollapalooza (Chicago), Austin City Limits, New Orleans Jazz Fest, The Getty Museum (LA), Bay Area Discovery Museum (San Francisco), Coolidge Corner Theatre (Boston), and Symphony Space (NYC).His newest release, Mundo Verde/Green World, is a bilingual environmentally themed album that was debuted at the National Climate Rally in Washington, DC.​  This new collection of inspirational ​multicultural ​music is​ intended to unite people of all ages and ethnicities in support of conservation and action.  Mister G also recently signed a multi-book deal with Penguin Random House to turn several of his songs into illustrated picture books. ​Mister G (Ben Gundersheimer) has a Master of Education, and leads artist residencies, workshops, and trainings in schools throughout the US and Latin America.  Ben is a former indie rocker who was awarded the first songwriting scholarship in the history of Berklee College of Music. He toured internationally prior to earning a Masters of Education and becoming a full-time family musician and teaching artist.
