Melissa Martinez is a choreographer, dancer, arts administrator, and the Artistic Director and Founder of Melissa Martinez Project. She is originally from southern California where she graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Over the past 5 years, Melissa has performed and presented work locally in the Berkshires at various venues including Jacob’s Pillow, TurnPark Art Space, the Colonial Theatre, The Unicorn Theatre, The Foundry, and more. Her newest work, From The Shore, premiered in August 2020 as part of Pause and Pivot: A Works in Progress Showing presented by Berkshire Theatre Group.
