The Original Mrs Drinkwater Presents is a one-woman show, written, created and performed by Laura Bellusci. It is a comedy, and the theme centers around family and friends in 1950's Boston.The show includes three interconnected skits and audience participation. On a deeper level, issues of immigration, assimilation, first generation differences, culture and language are the both the undercurrent and the hinge that helps create the characters and setting.
Laura performs mainly at retirement communities throughout New England and, when possible, local senior centers (at low or no cost). I also do shows for groups and clubs.
