Giving Tree School is an early childhood program that emphasizes children's creative expressions. Art, music, and dramatic experiences are supported by our resident artist and all the teachers. Spanish and sign language support is given by our resident specialist and special education teacher, and music is supported every day and during sessions with a specialist who brings instruments for the children to learn about and try. Giving Tree School also is unique in its conflict resolution approach to children's problems and disputes. Children's emotional intelligence is encouraged by a six problem solving steps that result in social-emotional growth and competence. Giving Tree has been providing programs for young children since 1976. We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the HighScope Educational Research Foundation.
