As a soloist or with her trio, Gypsy Moon, Annie Wenz attempts to bring listeners on a multicultural journey by blending contemporary folk with traditional music. She combines the instruments, textures, and rhythms of North and South America and Africa with original songs and stories of travel abroad (accompanying herself on guitar, Native American flutes, talking drum, panpipes, and other indigenous instruments).
