After several years of touring the country, playing clubs, barns and festivals, The Lord Nelson Band will perform live at HiLo North Adams.
It’s going to be imperfect, the band says. It’s going to have some holes in it. But it’s also going make you feel something. This is rock ‘n roll, not a chamber recital. This is a scratched and chipped mug on the bar, not a crystal vase decorating your mantle. Life is messy and bruising, so here is a soundtrack for all that.
Lord Nelson has been touring nationally, and releasing well received records since 2014, but never quite captured what they sounded like live until recently. In 2022, they will be offering a new full-length LP of mostly live tracked songs, made in a barn with a dingy stage in mind. If you don’t mind some dirty on it, we think this might be the sound for you. Stop worrying about perfection and let the cracks filter the lights. Stay tuned for more news soon. Thanks everyone.
