Prolific author and designer Charlotte Moss explores the fundamental question: What is home to you? The Mount’s Executive Director, Susan Wissler is among the many voices answering this question in Moss’ new book, Home: A Celebration.
One of Moss’s inspirations for this project is Edith Wharton’s The Book of the Homeless (1916), a successful fundraising effort that aided refugees and children during the First World War. In the spirit of Wharton, Moss will give a portion of the profits to benefit the organization No Kid Hungry, which works to feed more than 11 million children in the United States who live in food-insecure homes, a social problem magnified tenfold by the economic devastation of Covid-19.
