Neil Young tribute band Harvest and Rust will bring his well-known songs live to HiLo — Old Man, Heart of Gold and more.
Neil Young’s most widely acclaimed album, Harvest, has enjoyed 50 years of success. While Young has resisted offers to present the album in it’s entirety, Western Massachusetts-based band Harvest and Rust will present Harvest front-to-back and round out the evening with a selection of Neil Young’s greatest hits.
It’s hard to represent the wide-array of Neil Young’s influential material in one show, but that’s exactly what the band Harvest and Rust does. Based in Western Massachusetts, the core four members of Harvest and Rus often augment their show with other well-known local musicians to reproduce every era of Neil Young’s music, from the chart-topping Harvest material to the electric explorations of Rust Never Sleeps (Hey Hey My My, etc.), and songs from Neil’s time in Crosby Stills Nash & Young and Buffalo Springfield.
